Loved the coffee and the coffee bean sack! Need suggestions for next purchase. Which one is best for a robust coffee taste?
This coffee is super smooth. I'm always trying new coffee, but I've yet to find another roast or bean that suits me for consistent excellent taste and quality. I'm stuck on the Kira Ikawa and I'm ok with that. I live on Maui, which has some great blends, but still none better than this dark roast.
This was our first time trying Kira Ikawa, and it did not disappoint. It is my husband's new favorite for making Americanos. I have been ordering coffee from LOTH for 5 years now, and have consistently enjoyed all the coffees that we have tried. Thanks for doing good and making good (great!) coffee.
We have yet to have a coffee from Land of a Thousand Hills that is not good, and Kira Ikawa is no exception. A delicious darker coffee with nut-flavored tones!
Great fresh and locally roasted coffee, prompt service and delivery
Description claimed this was dark roast coffee beans. They are light roast. Not even on the medium side of light. No oils present. Completely dried out. Will not purchase again.
Usually when I think of dark roast I think if bitter, tart, and muddy, but this is the smoothest and richest dark roast I've ever had. I was surprised that I'm now ordering another bag of dark roast coffee, but not surprised that it comes from Land of a Thousand Hills. Thanks for adding value not only to my mornings but also to humanity all around the world.
Kira Ikawa is just a rich, smooth delicious coffee without the tart acidic after taste. I buy beans from the best roasters in the country and this is always one I go back to.
