About this coffee

In Kinyarwanda, Kira means "to be blessed" and Ikawa (EeKAHwah)  means "coffee."

A darker roast of its sibling, Muraho Morning, Kira Ikawa leans toward a caramel sweetness with a bold, roasty finish. This is both our darkest and our most traditional roast - African coffee the way your grandfather would like it.

Most recent order Underroasted

We’ve noticed there has been an inconsistency with the beans we’ve received in our last several orders. Our most recent order seemed underroasted and there was too much moisture in the bag/beans. It resulted in “weak” coffee and caused issues with our bean grinder afterwards. We have 5 lbs of this batch…generally we’ve enjoyed our orders.

Best darn coffee in existence

I am a coffee snob. I have even obtained coffee from Panama not available stateside. This is even better. Smooth, rich, perfectly roasted. It doesn't get better, trust me.

Great Coffee!

I bought this coffee on the recommendation of a close friend and it did not disappoint. Aside from the great taste, I love ordering the larger bags.
