About this coffee

In Kinyarwanda, Kira means "to be blessed" and Ikawa (EeKAHwah)  means "coffee."

A darker roast of its sibling, Muraho Morning, Kira Ikawa leans toward a caramel sweetness with a bold, roasty finish. This is both our darkest and our most traditional roast - African coffee the way your grandfather would like it.

Delicious and rich!

We LOVE this coffee!
It is rich and delicious. We make it strong in a pour over.
The shipping is quick, too!

Home away from home

I'm currently away from my local LTH and can't get my daily fix. I placed an order to have a little home away from home, and I'm so glad I did. I'm addicted to the Kira Ikawa blend and I look forward to starting my day with a nice hot cup. Order is on repeat!!!

Not typical dark roast

Before trying Kira Ikawa I did not enjoy dark roast coffee, but clearly I just wasn't trying the right kind of dark roast coffee! It is wonderful and deep without being bitter. Big fan!

Sunday morning Mmmm !!

Our church coffee team has used LOTH for more than a decade. Wouldn’t have it any other way. As the head of the coffee team, I get frequent comments on how amazing our coffee is and how much our members look forward to coming in knowing that they’re going to get to have a cup of this amazing brew !
