About this coffee

From the farms of Rwanda, an uncommon cherry known as a peaberry is harvested and separated from the rest of the crop. Peaberries make up about 5% of all the coffee harvested in the world. Peaberries are the result of a natural genetic variation where only one of the two coffee seeds in a cherry is fertilized, thereby producing a much smaller and rounder bean instead of the common larger, flat bean shape.

Great quality bags!

I love the quality of the 2lb bags to help keep the coffee fresh longer! And the Rwandan Peaberry has a unique, almost buttery, mouthfeel!

Complex Flavor Profile

I absolutely love this roast. I love that the flavor profile is light enough to take note of the complex flavors packed into the roast, but still remains full-bodied enough to give it's drinker a rich cup of coffee. Love it!

Rwandan Peaberry

Long time LOTH fan here, and the peaberry is one of my favorites. Thank you for producing such an excellent, perfectly roasted coffee! The cause behind it all, and knowing my dollars are going toward supporting amazing employees/farmers both nationally, and internationally, makes it taste even better! I’m already looking forward to the next morning’s cup as soon as I take the last sip of today’s. Awesome work LOTH!
