Very well balanced with hints of fruit and nut. It is my husband’s favorite for Americanos! Overall makes a great way to start the day.
I have lived in Costa Rica and this is hands down even better than the coffee I drank there!!!
For sure a quality coffee. I just wish the package had a “date roasted” on it so I can verify freshness.
This reminds me somewhat of Muraho Morning, but is a little smoother, as I generally find Central American coffees to be, as compared to most African coffees. I really enjoyed it.
Since these beans were originally washed I made it a point to use less water than usual so 4 ounces of water per cup. Make sure to use hot water that’s been cooled down after boiling. The hotter the water the more acidic. Deliciously bright, not creamy chocolate and just slightly chocolatey. It’s really more slightly sour and the after taste of the coffee is less coffee like. I’d recommend having this coffee definitely with something more sweet and rich.
If the beans were not washed I think it’d be a better cup. If you must wash the beans please reduce the amount of pear.
We really loved this coffee.
