Coffee has been a part of Feraziya’s life for decades. It was the crop that she grew and cultivated alongside her husband, the source of income that provided health insurance for her children, and the inheritance she blessed them with when they began families of their own.
While the income she receives from coffee farming gives her stability, her living conditions are poor and she suffers from vision problems, dizziness, and hypertension.
Feraziya is 84 years old and widowed, but she continues to take care of 100 coffee trees. While her life has been difficult, she is deeply proud of her children, and has hope for a prosperous future for them.
