Two Continents. One Community.

Every time you drink a cup of Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee or make a donation to the Do Good Initiative, you are making a difference for someone. Social justice is more than a thought, it's an action- an investment in humanity. You are already in community with the people of Rwanda. Now, we'd like for you to meet them. Join us on one of our trips to meet our coffee farmers, experience their countries, their communities and see first hand the good we, along with your partnership, are doing.

Expeditions to Rwanda are offered during the coffee harvest season and after the rainy season. These 10-12 day excursions include three nights in Kigali with visits to the National Cupping Lab and genocide memorial. We visit Ruli Mountain coffee washing station, learn how coffee is processed, and meet the farmers of Mbilima. From there, we hit the road to travel north to Musanze. Meet our coffee farmers, spend time with the local communities, have lunch with Pastor Ildephonse and visit the Forgiveness School. See the new primary school we built and the orphans we care for. Pick coffee cherries and learn about the process. Our last night is spent on Lake Kivu to enjoy the 6th largest lake in Rwanda, reflect and spend time together.

***Special trip dates are available for groups of 10 from the same church, cafe or organization.

Doing Good brings transformation in Rwanda… and in you. If you have a heart for transforming lives and communities from the ground up and doing good through coffee, we invite you to join us. Read Psalm 46:8-9. It says come and see what the Lord has done. This is the heart of what we are doing! You are each invited to come and see what God has and is doing in Rwanda. It’s about coming and building relationships. We are going to learn from our Rwandan friends. We are going to build relationships. We are going to “come and see.” And our prayer is that then God will show each of us what to DO!
